Serves as liaison and facilitates communication among Township departments, community groups, developers, business owners/operators, and outside agencies regarding community-wide economic development initiatives.Ĥ. Develops and implements strategies to successfully market the Township to prospective businesses, visitors, and residents, including the production of marketing tools for professional publications.ģ. Provides a leadership role in the preparation and implementation of plans and strategies for promoting and assisting functions of economic and community development.Ģ. This position involves the performance of highly skilled and sometimes confidential negotiations and discussions with members of the public and private industry.ġ. The work of this position requires the application of independent judgment and discretion based on knowledge of economic development principles, redevelopment, business retention and recruitment, and generally translating the attractiveness of Lower Paxton Township to prospective economic interests. To develop and implement strategies to successfully market the Township to prospective businesses, visitors, and residents. To provide oversight and coordination of the Township’s economic development and business support efforts.
